Sorry for being late posting these pictures. I've been sick with a cold. October 25th was the annual Stars of the Season event.

Stars of the Season 2014

This years Stars of the Season event is happening on October 25th. Chester and Talinda will be co-chairing. Read more here...

The multi-platinum rocker was born in Phoenix and lives in Gilbert with Talinda and their children. He told the Republic Talinda got involved before the hospital was even built.
"She initially wanted to do the dog therapy program," he said. "So we got one of our dogs involved. But my wife is very charismatic and outgoing, so immediately, she was on the board. And she helped organize the entertainment for the benefit. I, of course, support her in all the things she loves to do and she's a really giving person. So it's hard not to be excited about that."
Bennington said, "The best part of doing these benefits is when you're at the event and you see all these people really excited about contributing and then watching the hospital grow. This place didn't even exist four years ago. And now it's the epicenter of care for all these children. Four years ago, they would've been sent to another state. They would have to be turned away because there wasn't enough room in the one floor that was here before. So this has really become quite an amazing place for these kids."
This year, Bennington and his wife will co-chair with David Curran, an East Valley pediatrician.

Chester and STP at Stars of the Season 2013

Over at the Stars of the Season facebook page, they posted that Stone Temple Pilots with Chester as the vocalist, will be the live entertainment at this years event.

As the Advisory Council/Committee Chair of Publicity and Public Relations for the Banner Health Foundation's Stars of the Season Event, dkmedia is excited to announce our entertainment for 2013. STONE TEMPLE PILOTS, with new front man, CHESTER BENNINGTON who will be attending, performing live, and other special media events are in planning. We were privately informed of the confirmation Tuesday night, by Mrs. Talinda Bennington, and their son, Tyler. This year is truly gonna be amazing. Thank you STP, Chester, and all the red-tape, middle men, executives, and management involved to make this happen.

The Stars of the Season event will be on October 27, 2013. I'll post more info later when it becomes available.
