Being the wife of Mike Shinoda, I’m sure with no doubt you are used to the publicity and the attention of the media. But it seems like the tables have been turned and now you’re the one everybody is focusing on. How does that feel being center stage, instead of your husband?
I am extremely grateful to everyone who has read Learning Not to Drown and I love seeing the tweets and reviews and pictures of people with with book! It’s surreal to see pictures of me with fans – my fans! – up on Twitter or Facebook or Instagram – and even more surreal when someone has pulled a quote from my book to share. I am still getting used to the fact that something I wrote is published and while I enjoy speaking at events and doing interviews, my favorite things are still hanging out with my family and friends or spending some quiet time reading or writing.
