No sentence yet for a former Sandia Labs employee who admitted to stalking Chester Bennington, the lead singer of Linkin' Park and his wife Talinda who live in California.
Twenty-eight year old Devon Townsend will have to wait another week before learning if she'll face prison time.
The sentencing in this case was expected this afternoon but after a very emotional statement by Devon Townsend, the judge decided to delay the decision.
For almost a year, Devon admitted breaking into the couple's e-mail using a Sandia Lab computer and reading all of their messages.
Townsend says she's always been a fan of the group Linkin' Park but her love for the band turned into a case of cyber-stalking. Townsend also admits to tracking down the pin number to access the couple's cell phone voicemail but she contends she never made any phone calls directly to the couple.
Prosecutors disagree and say Townsend called Talinda Bennington several times, even threatened her children.
Late this afternoon, Townsend went before the judge, crying at times, asking for probation over jail time because of her young son.
Townsend could be sentenced to several years in prison. A sentencing date has not yet been set.
