Welcome to my website! Please take a look around, and keep checking back in. I have big plans for developing this website, but for now, my focus is on my writing. I currently have two completed manuscripts for editorial consideration, and I am working on a young adult novel.
A lot of people ask me how I started to write for children and teens. After realizing public relations was not my passion, I began to take a plethora of classes to discover what I really wanted to do in life. Art, landscaping, interior design, fashion - I knew I wanted to do something creative. My next stop was taking writing classes. There was a familiar spark. This was something that I have always loved to do, but bills and the need for a reliable career made me forget.
I soon realized all of my main characters had one thing in common: they were all under 18 years old. Intrigued by the challenge of writing for children and teens, I took several classes that taught the art and psychology of composing for different ages.
More importantly, is why I write for children and teens: there are a lot of people in the world that have been hurt, afraid and lonely. I want to share my stories and life experiences to help them heal.
